More Support for Students with Disabilities National Partnerships (MSSD)

The MSSD initiative involved funding of a total of $300 million over three years to government and non-government education authorities. The additional funding was provided until the end of the 2014 school year to support services for students with disability and learning difficulties.

The purpose of the MSSD initiative was to fund teacher and principal training, equipment and technology and specialist resources for students and schools.

Through this program all education authorities are required to provide progress reports outlining the achievements that have been made to date (available here).

The program ceased in 2014.
