The Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability was established on 4 April 2019 by the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, His Excellency the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AL MC (Retired).
In partnership with state and territory-based organisations, over the coming months CYDA will be co-hosting workshops for individuals and families
interested to learn more about the Disability Royal Commission and how to have your say on the issue of inclusive education.
The workshops will include practical tips and support to prepare your own submission if you would like to do so.
Frequently asked questions about the Royal Commission will be addressed, and you will have an opportunity to hear about other work being undertaken
to promote inclusive education through engagement with the Royal Commission.
